Another new layout for my blog. That’s important work I’m doing around here.
There’s a list of links to the left called “Every Day.” I read all of those sites every day, literally. When I miss a day, I make a point to catch-up. Those are all the sites I’ve found that change regularly enough and have enough to say that it’s worth reading them every day.
So, what do you read everyday? Please post in the comments.
Also … we got more pictures from the wedding from Chet. Click the pic below to go there. I intend to keep adding to them, so you can check back for more.

Iowa University Blackhawks, that is. (Boy I hope that’s right. I saw it oon a trailer this morning.)

To be more specific I am here:
and I’m quite enjoying myself, thank you very much. I have a double caramel cloud by my side, and a blueberry muffin, and a cup of water, and wireless internet (powered by two routers, thank you very much) and I’m just as happy as could be. The only thing missing is good company. But, I think we’ll remedy that in November. (Right, Acacia?)

Anyway. I got up at 6:30am yesterday and drove 8 hours (and fifteen minutes) from my front door to the Iowa University theatre building. Jenn was on the phone with me for the last 5 minutes, giving me directions as I drove through downtown to the building.

They play had already started (Not my fault. Sean gave me the wrong time, but I was still only 15 mintues late.) and I entered backstage. So, I acyed like I knew what I was doing and meandered around the building till I found the lobby, where, lo and behold, Sean Lewis was (in costume) reading postings on a bulletin board. Sean snuck me upstair to an observation deck so I could watch the remaining two hours and forty minutes of Red Noses by Peter Barnes.

Well, I’d had 3 hours of sleep and had just gotten out of the car, so sitting for 3 hours of college drama was just not going to be my cup of tea. But, it was a well-performed, well-made play, and the technical elements were great. Most of the acting was also very, very good. And I did like the premise, there was a bit too much treacly stuff. A little to cutesy for my tastes at times. Which should not be too big a surprise, given that Peter Barnes has done a bunch of work recently for The Hallmark Channel. Anyway … it was cool to see Sean act. And seeing a really theatrical show in a cool space was a nice change.

After the show, we crashed at Sean’s pad for awhile, and watched a bit of the VERY awesome District B13. Then it was on to Jenn’s hobbit hovel.
Jenn’s new place is tiny, to say the least. It has four rooms, and they’re all very tiny.
She had told me on the phone that seating 3 in the living room might be difficult, and she wasn’t kidding at all. Luckily, she just got a new chair.

Jenn made a spot of food, and then we all sat aruond reading Cloud 9 by Caryl Churchill. We did it aloud with cross-casting and funny voices and I think it actually helped everyone understand the play. It was very cool and a lot of fun, at least for the first act, which is full of bizarre sex and inneundo. The second act features a dramatic, so to speak, shift in tone, and we were all half asleep by that point, so it wasn’t quite as fun. But, it was a good way to spend the evening, and I was glad I could help with their classwork.

And now it’s today, and I now I have an oddly disturbing headache, and I should try to get some work done. I have a show that I’ve been working on for quite sometime that’s starting to make me a little bit crazy. GRrRrrRRRrrrrRRRrr … !!!!
