Here are the answers to those trivia questions I launched at the Drexel Oscar bash.
And … apologies to anyone who was offended by my comments about Helen Mirren. But she is 64 years old, and you should accept that.

I’ll be at the Drexel tomorrow night helping to fill the commercial interruption gaps by asking some movie trivia questions and giving away door prizes. I’ll even be bringing some very difficult and opinion-filled trivia questions of my own. Here they are.

The 2010 Oscar nominations are out and the best picture list is a joke. So, in an attempt to push those those thoughts from my mind and yours, here are some more of my favorite movies of the last 10 years.

I don’t watch broadcast or cable TV, but I watched all of The Wire on DVD, and it was one of the most fulfilling interactions I’ve ever had with a piece of film-art.
So, I even I’m looking forward to this.

I can hardly believe I did this. I’m even trying to put them in order. Anyway, if you like this, come back as we slowly count down to my favorite movie of the past ten years. I’ll give you a hint – it’s not a Star Wars movie.

Talk about a movie that didn’t stand the test of time. I fast-forwarded through about 90 minutes of it, stopping occasionally, but I just couldn’t do it. Blech.
