Well, that was kind of depressing. I googled the word in this post’s title, which are also currently found at the bottom of my blog. What seemed like hundreds of blogs popped-up. And they all looked exactly like mine.
It doesn’t help that this heavily (and beautifully) gridded design encourages a certain amount of lock-step conformity. When you start to see other people’s words in place of your own, but all the lines and even most of the colors looking the same, it’s much less inspiring than this design was meant to be.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s an amazing design, and worth every penny, but I’m feeling less unique, and much less cool at the moment.
Ergh. Meh. Blurgh.
